City of Rockport issued the following announcement on April 6
County Judge Mills received notification today of a second positive case of COVID-19 in Aransas County. The individual is a male in his 50s and quarantined at home. Additionally, it is not registered on the TX DSHS site at this time. UPDATE - This is a case of community transmission.
As soon as we receive more detailed information on how the two cases were contracted, we will let you know. In the meantime, please be safe and follow the Stay at Home and social distancing guidelines.
