City of Rockport issued the following announcement on May 21
The City’s annual seal coating program is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 26 for the area located between Enterprise and Highway 35S. The project is estimated to take three weeks, weather permitting.
Work will take place from 8 am - 3 pm each day. Residents will receive notification before work commences. Rockport citizens should be aware that there may be street closings and should allow extra time for possible detours.
In order to provide the most efficient service and to avoid any possible damage to vehicles, residents and contractors should refrain from parking in the street between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Additionally, use of irrigation systems should be limited to the hours of 7:00 p.m. to midnight.
