CITY OF PORT LAUACA: City of Port Lavaca CDBG-MIT Grant Administration/Professional Services Request for Proposal RFP 2020-06.10-A

City of Port Lauaca issued the following announcement on June 10

The City of Port Lavaca plans to apply for upcoming Community Development Block Grant – Mitigation funding from the General Land Office (GLO) Community Development Block Grant Program. The City will be applying for such funding to support infrastructure activities in the City of Port Lavaca. These services are being solicited to assist the City of Port Lavaca in its application and administration of the CDBG-MIT contract(s), if awarded, to support eligible activities in the City of Port Lavaca. Accordingly, the City of Port Lavaca seeks to contract with a qualified Grant Administration Service Provider (individual/firm) to prepare the application and/or administer the awarded contract(s). The complete submission requirements, evaluation criteria and other information concerning this RFP can be downloaded at www.portlavaca.org or otherwise received by contacting Interim City Manager, Jody Weaver at 361-827-3601 or jweaver@portlavaca.org. The complete submittal, consisting of 1 original and 3 copies and 1 full color PDF (on a thumb drive), must be delivered in a sealed package clearly marked on the outside “RFP 2020-06.10-A – CDBG-MIT GRANT ADMINISTRATION SERVICES” and addressed to: JoAnna P. Weaver, P.E., Interim City Manager, City of Port Lavaca, 202 N. Virginia St. Port Lavaca, Texas 77979.  The deadline for submission of proposals is Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm. The City of Port Lavaca is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals. Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus firms are encouraged to submit proposals and firms using subcontractors/sub-consultants must solicit such firms in their procurement process.
