EDNA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: 5K-K9 Rescue Run/Walk on September 12

Edma Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Event Name: 5K-K9 Rescue Run/Walk

Description

Attention all dog lovers! The Jackson County Happy Tails Animal Shelter is thrilled to host their very first “5K-K9 Rescue Run/Walk”! The event will take place on Saturday, September 12th at the Texana Park & Campground Pavilion with the race starting at 8AM. All proceeds will benefit the Jackson County Happy Tails Animal Shelter! Don't have a pup? NO WORRIES! We encourage everyone to come out and participate! Early entry fees (before August 28th) are $20 (ages 5-18) and $25 (adult). After August 28th the registration fee will be $30 for everyone. Participants are guaranteed a t-shirt if registered by August 28, 2020!

If you wish to be a sponsor, there are sponsorship opportunities available. We would love to have you! Registration forms and Sponsorship forms can be found BELOW or in person at Lakeway Veterinary Clinic in Edna. Pets must be leashed at all times and have current shots and rabies vaccinations (presentation of proof or current tag required at the event).

The Jackson County Happy Tails Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization and is run on a volunteer basis. All proceeds will go towards everyday operation cost, vet bills, pet supplies, and their ultimate goal is to open their NEW Happy Tails Facility that is currently in the process of being completed!
