Calhoun County ISD recently issued the following announcement.
Calhoun County ISD is aware that some families have received a text message today stating that there is no school, which of course, is not correct. The text was from an unidentified, and unofficial source called “School district” and it made no reference to Calhoun County ISD. Not all CCISD families received the notification, but some have reported it.
Just to confirm, we do have school today on a normal schedule. Here is the week’s schedule. Please note that there is an early release on Tuesday and school is closed on Wednesday. The rest of the week is normal.
- Monday, Oct. 12 – normal school schedule.
- Tuesday, Oct. 13 – early release for students around 12:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 14 – Calhoun County ISD schools closed for the Youth Livestock Show (Fair Day)
- Thursday, Oct. 15 - normal school schedule
- Friday, Oct. 16 - normal school schedule
