Census Bureau: More women than men in Lamar in 2020

Of the 1,073 people living in Lamar in 2020, 61.1 percent (656) were women and 38.9 percent (417) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Coastal News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 36. In the 65 and over age range, there were 137 females and 206 males.
