Victoria County schools enroll 68,728 students in the 2020-2021 school year

Test 06

Victoria County enrolled 68,728 students in the 2020-2021 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

This is 124,840 fewer than the year before.

Victoria County was ranked 19th in enrollment among Texas counties.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
