Austwell-Tivoli ISD Education: 144 students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 144 students enrolled in Austwell-Tivoli ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 9.9% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 54.2% of them were girls, and 45.8% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 65.3% of the Austwell-Tivoli ISD total enrollment.

Austwell-Tivoli ISD roughly covers schools within Refugio County with its main office in Tivoli.

Among the two schools in Austwell-Tivoli ISD, Austwell-Tivoli Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 78 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
