How many Hispanic students were enrolled in Falls City ISD schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 91 Hispanic students enrolled in Falls City ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.8% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Falls City ISD schools welcomed 442 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 20.6% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Falls City ISD roughly covers schools within Karnes County and has a main office in Falls City.

Among the two schools in Falls City ISD schools, Falls City Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 55 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
