Bloomington ISD schools Education: 6 multiracial students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were six multiracial students enrolled in Bloomington ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 40% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Bloomington ISD schools welcomed 890 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 0.7% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Bloomington ISD roughly covers schools within Victoria County and has a main office in Placedo.

Among the four schools in Bloomington ISD schools, Bloomington High School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of three students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
